Child of His

The pagan woman was the sole heir of the first Roman Caesar, but she was born under abolishment. She was raised by a father who rejected her and learned quickly that self-preservation was what gave her strength to survive her upbringing.
Upon arriving in Jerusalem, she heard and encountered Yeshua’s miracles and teachings, leading her to a moment in time when the Lord would call upon her.
Yeshua had many followers, disciples, a mother, brothers, and sisters. Upon the day of His crucifixion, there was only one person the Lord chose to try to prevent His death, it was a pagan woman.
AROSE
Cleophas arrived in Jerusalem the week of Passover as a follower of Jesus Christ with hopes of bringing the truth of the Savior to his family. He came home to find a dead brother, a grieving mother and sister, and his Sadducee father, who he had disappointed by leaving the family earlier to follow John the Baptist.
Through the events of Jesus Christ’s arrival, trial, and crucifixion, the family is forced to face the challenges among them as salvation and peace lingers before them leading to miracle for the family (Matthew 27:53) and Cleopas to fulfilling a chosen moment by the Lord. (Luke 24:13-27)
Love Moves
Joan Hess is now focused on putting her battle and recovery from Cancer behind her. Through her struggle, the Lord has given her a special gift. A gift she is unsure how to use. A gift that frightens her. A gift that will require her to listen, obey and face things she wants to resist and forget.
Joan will learn when the Lord speaks it’s best to listen and accept.
‘Tis the Season
Joan Hess returns home with her son who is injured from the Afghan War. His condition brings a mix of emotions as they grapple with an uncertain future due to his inability to walk. Tensions arise within their relationship. Together they deal with his uncertain future of not being able to walk again, causing friction within their relationship.
Meanwhile, Joan’s romantic relationship with Peter has deepened, leaving her to question her own emotions and if she is ready to take their love to the next level.
Amidst her personal struggles, she must use her gift to battle the demons who threaten to stop her church family from spreading the Good News and the true meaning of Christmas. Joan stands strong in her faith during these challenging times for ’tis the season for miracles.
